Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

I received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Salem State College and a Master of Science in Nursing from the University of South Florida. I am certified as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. I have over ten years of experience treating children, adolescents, and young adults with behavioral health symptoms. I have worked in community mental health, private practice, and inpatient settings. Additionally, I have had an independent practice in New England.

My practice interests include ADHD; Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), especially those referred to as "High Functioning Autism" or "Asperger's;" anxiety and associated mood and behavioral dysregulation. In addition to my clinical background, while at the University of South Florida, I studied systems of care. I have had the opportunity to serve on various local and state advisory committees advocating for children/adolescent behavioral health and the needs of their family members who support them. I also provide professional consultation and training regarding treatment strategies for children, adolescents, and families affected by behavioral health challenges. My experience extends to college age and young adults who struggle with attention, depression, and generalized and social anxiety symptoms.

I spent most of my life in the Boston area. Outside of my professional interests, I enjoy spending time with my children and rescue dog. I enjoy reading, cooking, and the beach.
